Forecast



Forecast is a men's a cappella barbershop quartet that has been entertaining audiences since 2014. Mike, Tyler, Travis, and Kevin travel from North Carolina and Virginia to put their 4 voices together in the quartet. They have a unique feel-good repertoire of songs that spans from traditional early American vocal standards in the barbershop style all the way to four-part harmony versions of contemporary hits by Michael Bublé, Big Bad VooDoo Daddy, Zac Brown Band, and the Jive Aces!

Forecast is proud to be the 2019 1st Place Champion of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Harmony Sweepstakes and 2nd Place Finalist in the National Harmony Sweepstakes competition. Additional competitive accomplishments as members of the Barbershop Harmony Society include 2016 MAD Southern Division Champion, 2017 Second Place M-AD District Finalist, and a 2017, 2018, & 2019 Quarterfinalist competitor at the International Barbershop Harmony Society contest held in July each year.

Mike Fitch lives in Winston-Salem, NC where he works as an emergency physician and Professor and Vice Chair for Academic Affairs at the Wake Forest School of Medicine. He has been singing tenor in barbershop quartets since 1988 in Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina, and Virginia – including in the 2011 Carolinas District Champions and 2012 International Quarterfinalists quartet, 17 Below.

Tyler Rackley lives in Richmond, VA where he runs a successful real estate business, and he has sung with a number of successful competitive quartets in several different Barbershop Harmony Society districts. Tyler was the lead of the 2001 international bronze medal collegiate quartet, The Classics.

Kevin Jones lives in Holly Springs, NC and works as a clinical nurse educator for Duke Health. He brings a great bass voice and years of experience to Forecast. Kevin has sung in many successful competition quartets, with accomplishments as District Quartet Champion and multiple appearances on the international stage.

Travis Murray lives in High Point, NC and works as a computer and IT project development professional. He has sung lead, tenor, and baritone in competitive quartets since 2000 in North Carolina and Virginia, including the 2011 Carolinas District Champions and 2012 International Quarterfinalists quartet, 17 Below.
