Please review the following guidelines regarding the Fall Convention.
Purchase of a registration and attendance acknowledges compliance with these items as a condition of participation. Any violation of these will result in non-refundable forfeiture of ticket, expulsion from the convention, and potential disqualification of the quartet or chorus represented.
- No one is to be at the school prior to 4pm on Friday as school is in session that day. Ticket table will open 30 mins prior to start of the session.
- Absolutely no vaping or smoking of any kind is permitted on school grounds. Vaping or smoking triggers sensors that alert the school principal via text message. It is also illegal in the State of Pennsylvania and therefore may result in the involvement of authorities.
- No destruction of school property of any kind and ensure each room is left the same as when you entered it (Leave No Trace).
- Do not touch or move any school items or structures. This includes using supplies from desks (i.e. scissors), drawing with markers/chalk and whiteboards/chalkboards, consumption of any food in the classroom, as well as movement of furniture, room dividers/walls, etc. If you feel any item needs to be moved, please connect with a member of the Events Team who will work with the school staff to move if appropriate.

The Virginians Afterglow, Hampton Inn York (5 mins away from the school), 1550 Zion Rd, York, PA 17402. Food and drink available. No Charge, BYOB.
Gotham-Parkside District Afterglow
Gotham & Parkside invite you to an afterglow at Avalons! Drinks and food will be available for purchase. $5 advance, $10 at the door - 466 East Market Street, York, PA 17403
Timeline
These approximate milestones are based on the Friday of the convention.
- Several months out: Hotel rooms available (book early)
- Two months out: Events open for entries (instructions)
- One month out: Contests closed for entries (contact Contests VP)
- Four weeks out: Closed for hardship requests (affects draw)
- Three weeks out: Draw posted (unlikely to change)
- One week out: Finalize possible rep (instructions)
Include hardship/scheduling constraints under 'Additional Notes' at entry (editable after submitting). You may also contact the Contests VP by email.
